Probably Bad Dreams If You’re a Refugee

June 12, 2008

The other day I looked inside a shoe at work, and was surprised to see that it was made in Germany. At the time this surprised me, as thought it meant It was made of the highest quality by skilled German shoe-makers. It then occured to me that I was only impressed cause it wasn’t made in China or some other part of South East Asia.

I think I’m racist.

  2. Sylv thinks everyone is racist. I am sub-consciously discriminate, but not racist. On a side note, my music taste is infectious, and this is good.

  3. Heya what’s the difference between “sub-consciously discriminate” and “racist”? Racist doesn’t always have to be a conscious decision, ay?

  5. It was an Adidas football boot, no surprise being a German company. Tricky, TZU is my most played music on itunes, Like 300 plays I think. And I was watching underbelly and they had ‘In Front of Me’ as backing music. I was impressed with that.

  6. There’s nothing racist about knowing that higher quality products generally come from countries where people are actually paid for their work.
